Firefighters still battling blaze in downtown Kingston

Firefighters are still on Princess Street in downtown Kingston battling a blaze which started early Tuesday morning.
 
The blaze, has destroyed shops, a restaurant and stalls on Matthews Lane.
 
Horace Thomas, Senior Deputy Superintendent in charge of operations for the Kingston and St. Andrew Division of the Jamaica Fire Brigade, said firefighters have extinguished the blaze on Matthews Lane, however, the fire is still raging at the commercial building on Princess Street. 
 
The cause of the fire has not been determined.
