Five KFTL employees to face court on ganja charges

Five employees of Kingston Freeport Terminal Limited are to face the Kingston and St. Andrew Parish Court on Tuesday on drug charges.
 
They are 38-year-old refrigerator technician Jermaine Minnott; 28-year-old port security supervisor Shawayne Gordon; 28-year-old ort security guard Andrew Andrade; 35-year-old port security guard Elvis Banbury and 28-year-old straddle carrier operator Phillip Henderson.
 
The men were arrested on February 11 during an operation.
 
During the operation, police found ganja weighing 1,516 pounds, hidden in a container destined for Canada.
 
It was valued at $6.1 million.
