Former Prime Minister Bruce Golding in hospital

Former Prime Minister Bruce Golding is now in hospital.

A statement from his daughter Sherene Golding-Campbell says Mr. Golding was hospitalised Thursday evening for a recurring health condition which he has suffered for some time.

The former Prime Minister was admitted to the Tony Thwaites Wing of the University Hospital of the West Indies under observation.

The statement said it is expected that Mr. Golding will be home soon once his health indicators are satisfactory to his physician.

In January, Mr. Golding had checked into the Tony Thwaites Wing after complaining of feeling nauseous.
