Four arrested in Bermuda in connection with US$2 million ganja bust

The Bermuda police and customs officers have arrested four people and seized almost US$2 million in suspected cannabis in a major drug bust.

The officers on Thursday executed warrants at a business as well as homes seizing a shipping container in the process.

The Bermuda Police Service said the container yielded what was believed to be cannabis with a street value of US$1.9 million.

The police say the seizure disrupted the illegal activities of a well-organised crime group on the island and is a severe blow to the organisation's established illegal importation pipeline.
