GeoTechVision has claimed it was sent variations to the deliverables under its contract to supply devices for the Tablets in Schools Programme a day before the agreement was terminated by e-Learning Jamaica.
It is the latest development in the dispute between the government entity and the contractor and follows statements in the House of Representatives on Tuesday by Technology Minister Fayval Williams.
GeoTechVision has disputed Mrs Williams' declaration that there were no changes to the contract.
The company said the management of e?Learning Jamaica made substantial variations to the contract, sometimes without any dialogue with it.
It said those actions on the part of e?Learning Jamaica caused a delay in the performance of the contract.
The company said the latest change to the contract was received from e?Learning Jamaica on September 13, just one business day before the notice of termination.
GeoTechVision is hoping for the intervention of the Integrity Commission, which is mandated to monitor government procurement contracts, and identify breaches or arbitrary behaviour by a state entity.
The company recently told RJR News it is likely to take legal action to challenge the termination of the contract.
It said it had not received a response from Prime Minister Andrew Holness to its letter objecting to the decision to yank the contract.
