Grenada has recorded seven COVID-19 related deaths in the last 24 hours.
Health authorities are appealing to citizens to get vaccinated, noting that all those who died had not been inoculated.
In January, Grenada had recorded only one death since the onset of the pandemic in March last year.
But in the last week, the country's death toll has climbed to 12.
Health officials did not provide much details regarding the latest deaths, except to say that the victims were aged 28 to 35.
There were four females.
Health Minister Nickolas Steele said there is now community spread of the virus.
