Jamaica and El Salvador are currently tied at 1-1 all in the first round of the World Group 2 Davis Cup playoffs in San Salvador on Friday. Blaise Bicknell gave Jamaica the lead with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Alberto Alvarado, before Marcelo Gonzales levelled proceedings with a 6-3, 6-7, 6-2 win over Randy Phillips.
Match three between the pair of Bicknell and Harris and Gonzales and Luis Miralles will be played on Saturday at 12 noon Jamaica time. The winner of the five match encounter will be promoted to Group 2, while the loser will be relegated to Group 3 in the Americas region.
