By Clinton McGregor

A 20-year-old woman who was being sought for the murder of a man in Jones Town, Kingston, was deported to Jamaica on Thursday after being captured in Cayman on Sunday.

Ashley Williams, a resident of Denham Town, has since been charged with the murder of 47-year-old David Rowe, a bearer of Septimus Street, Jones Town.

A second suspect, 22-year-old Jovanie Thompson, has also been charged in the case.

The police say on November 30, last year, Mr. Rowe was at his house on Septimus Street when he was accosted by Mr. Thompson and his girlfriend, Ms Williams.

During a dispute, it is alleged that the accused woman pulled a knife and stabbed Mr. Rowe several times.

Mr. Thompson then pulled an illegal gun and opened fire on the injured man.

He was later pronounced dead at hospital.

The accused man was captured last month during a police operation in Manchester.
