The Jamaica Labour Party's (JLP) Phillip Henriques has been confirmed the winner of the Clarendon North West seat following a magisterial recount which ended today.
Henriques, who polled 6,124 votes to unseat the incumbent People's National Party's Richard Azan, increased his margin of victory by 46 votes.
With the matter settled, Mr. Henriques says it is now time to begin his work in the constituency.
Following the announcement, Azan told Radio Jamaica News that he respects the constituents decision.
