Multiple sources are reporting that Joseph Marley, also known as Jo Mersa, has died.
The reggae artiste was the eldest son of Stephen Marley and grandson of reggae legend, Bob Marley.
It's being reported that he was found unresponsive in a vehicle.
His cause of death is not clear, but official details are expected to come from the Marley family.
Culture and Entertainment Minister Olivia Grange has expressed condolences to Mersa's family, saying she is "deeply saddened" by the news of his death.
She recalled that the artiste performed at the Jamaica 60 launch in Miramar, Florida earlier this year.
Ms Grange said his untimely passing is a "huge loss" to the music industry.
