Legal Aid Council invites public to justice fair in St. James

Jamaicans are being invited to the final Legal Aid Council Justice Fair for this year, being held today at Harmony Beach Park in St. James.

The justice fair is aimed at providing easy access to critical legal services.

Executive Director of the Council Dian Watson says attendees can expect to benefit from free legal advice, expungement information, and restorative justice among other services.

Mrs. Watson highlights that there has been marked interest and support for the fairs as more than 2,300 Jamaicans have benefited from the three held earlier this year.

She is encouraging community and civil society groups to reach out to the Council to book its Mobile Justice Unit so they can consider travelling to the requested area.
