A 27-year-old man is in custody following the fatal stabbing of a woman in Central Village, St. Catherine on the weekend.
The deceased has been identified as Monique Curtis, a resident of Central Village.
Investigators reported that on Saturday, Miss Curtis and the suspect had a dispute during which Miss Curtis was stabbed in the chest.
Radio Jamaica News was informed that the suspect went to the Central Village Police Station where he surrendered and handed over a knife to the police.
