Men held for questioning in relation to gang feud in Payne Avenue

Several men have been detained for questioning in connection with a gang feud in the Payne Avenue community in the St. Andrew South Police Division.
 
The men were held on Tuesday following a shooting in which two women were seriously injured.
 
About 2:00 p.m., the women were sitting on Payne Avenue when two men walked up and shot them.
 
Superintendent Kirk Ricketts, head of the St. Andrew South Police, told Radio Jamaica News that one of the suspects was later captured.
 
He said several operations were conducted on Tuesday in search of men involved in the gang feud.
 
Seven men suspected to be involved in gang activities were arrested.
