Homicide detectives have launched a search for a man who recorded himself carrying out an execution in Harbour View, St. Andrew on Wednesday.
The video has gone viral.
About 10:00 a.m., residents of Melbrook Heights heard gunfire and called the police.
The body of 56-year-old Everton Peart a landscaper of Caribbean Terrace was later found on a road in the community.
The body had bullet wounds.
A video later surfaced on social media showing a man standing over Mr. Peart and shooting him several times.
Investigators are now reviewing the video in their attempt to find the killer.
