A post-mortem examination is to be conducted today (Friday) on the body of retired journalist Barbara Gayle.
Ms. Gayle was found dead at her Caymanas Country Club Estate residence in St. Catherine on December 17.
Her body had multiple stab wounds.
In the meantime, the suspect charged with her murder is scheduled to appear before the St. Catherine Parish Court on Tuesday.
Travis Ellis reportedly confessed to killing the veteran journalist for her GLA 180 Mercedes Benz motor vehicle.
The vehicle, which was stolen by Ellis, was found a day later in bushes along the Dyke Road in Portmore, St. Catherine.
