The murder case involving the man accused of being the leader of the Spanish Town-based Wildlife gang, Rudolph Shaw, has been transferred to the Kingston & St Andrew Parish Court.
Shaw who is also charged with wounding with intent, was remanded yesterday when he appeared before the St Catherine Parish Court.
He is to return to court on September 7
His attorney Peter Champagnie told Radio Jamaica News that he tried to secure an early date for the matter to begin.
Shaw, who was recently deported following his capture in Cayman, has been charged with the 2021 murder of 59 year-old Wilfred O'Connor, a carpenter of St. John's Road in St. Catherine.
Mr O'Connor was among five persons shot in a twin attack on St John's Road by a group of armed thugs on September 29, last year.
