Shaw gives Devon Rowe thumbs up as Financial Secretary

Opposition Spokesman on Finance Audley Shaw has given the thumbs up to the appointment of Devon Rowe as Financial Secretary.

Mr. Shaw says Mr. Rowe is the right man for the job:

“I think Mr Rowe is a well qualified well rounded person he has served as a permanent secretary in the Ministry of Local Government, he has served as a Director General in the Ministry of Finance when I was ther, in fact he was tasked with the responsibility of putting together the Central Treasury Management System which is a major project in the transformation process.”

Mr. Rowe's appointment was confirmed on Wednesday by the Public Service Commission, PSC.
