A sixth person has been charged in connection with the multi-million dollar fraud at Institute of Sports (INSPORTS) and has been placed before the Home Circuit Court.
Sherene Farquarson made her first appearance in court Monday morning.
Director of Communications at MOCA, Major Basil Jarrett, confirmed that Ms Farquarson turned herself in last week in the company of her attorney.
Ms Farquarson, former financial controller Andrew Wright, Oneil Hope, Rudolph Barnes, Jonnique Mills, and Andrea Picton are accused of defrauding INSPORTS of more than $222 million.
Their bail application, which was initially set for May 12, got underway on Monday (May 1).
Attorneys representing the six defendants are to continue their part-heard bail application on Friday.
