Attorney-at-law Christopher Townsend

Dancehall artiste Skeng has been freed of charges arising from an argument with a member of Port Security Corps at Norman Manley International Airport last May.
The artiste, whose given name is Kevon Douglas, was charged with disorderly behaviour and resisting arrest.
Speaking with Radio Jamaica News, his attorney Christopher Townsend explained that the matter, which had been wrongly listed in the morning session of the parish court on Thursday, has been resolved.
"The judge was not informed that it was wrong, and of course, he did not attend because he was not required to attend. The requirement was for him to attend in the afternoon at the Plea and Case Management Court, which we attended and made an application to the parish court judge that the matter ought to be dismissed. The parish court judge agreed with our submission and dismissed the matter against him," Mr. Townsend disclosed.
Skeng's co-accused, Cara Wilson and Shaquille Kelly, were also freed.
