St. Thomas police extend search for missing woman

The St. Thomas Police have launched an extensive search for a woman who has been missing since Sunday. 
 
She has been identified as 25-year-old Abigail Jackson of Miami Lane in Heartease.
 
St. Thomas Police are being assisted in the search by the JCF Canine Division, the fire department and residents.
 
Deputy Superintendent of the St. Thomas Police, Courtney Coley, told Radio Jamaica News "there are no leads" at this time. 
 
He said the search began on Monday and was initially "limited to the premises and immediate environs". The search has however extended on Thursday to "the hills and adjoining areas". 
 
It's understood that a man who made the initial missing person report has been taken into custody for questioning.
