Three persons, including a couple, were shot dead in separate attacks by gunmen in Sandy Bay, Hanover this morning.
It's reported that, sometime after 2 o'clock, men kicked in the door of a house occupied by Omar McDonald.
His relatives said they heard someone shout "Police" followed by gunshots.
Mr McDonald died at the scene.
It's believed that a few minutes later, the same men went to the neighbouring community of Pumpkin Bottom where they shot Miguel Wilmot and Veneisha O'Reggio.
The gunmen also kicked in their door.
Residents told Radio Jamaica News that Mr McDonald and Mr Wilmot were close friends.
