Three shot, one fatally, in alleged gun battle with police

Three men were shot during an alleged confrontation with the police in Waterhouse, St. Andrew on Wednesday evening.
 
Senior Superintendent Kirk Ricketts, head of the St. Andrew South Police Division, told Radio Jamaica News that one of the men later died.
 
The police were reportedly fired on shortly after 7:00 p.m. while patrolling West Bay Farm Road.
 
Following the shootout, the three wounded men were found. 
 
The police say two firearms were seized from the men.
