The constables, a male and female, were arrested in a sting operation at one of the stations in the parish.

It's reported that the constables were on duty in the Discovery Bay area when they solicited money from a motorist for a traffic violation.

The motorist reported the matter to the Police High Command and an investigation was launched.

An operation was set up and the two were reportedly caught with the cash solicited from the motorist.
