Two persons were killed in separate incidents in Westmoreland on Tuesday.
About 5:25 a.m., the body of 25-year-old Shadae Foster was seen on Petersfield Road in Whithorn.
The body had what appeared to be chop wounds to the head.
The Westmoreland police were called to another murder scene about 11:55 on Tuesday night.
The body of Christopher Samuels, which had bullet wounds, was found beside a motorcycle in Strathbogie, Savanna-la-Mar.
A Zone of Special Operations was declared in sections of Savanna-la-Mar on Sunday following a spike in murders, shootings and robberies.
