Two men died in a collision on the McCooks Pen main road in St. Catherine on Wednesday.
They have been identified as James Morgan and Nicholas Creary, both mechanics from the parish.
It's reported that about 9:20 p.m., the men were travelling in a Nissan B14 motorcar when Mr. Creary swerved to avoid a collision with another vehicle, whose driver had swerved to avoid a pothole.
The Nissan crashed into a Toyota Land Cruiser that was in the opposite lane.
The fire department had to be called to remove the unresponsive men from the wreckage of the Nissan.
They were transported to Spanish Town Hospital, along with the female driver of the Land Cruiser.
The men were pronounced dead, while the woman was admitted in stable condition.
Meanwhile, a taxi operator is calling for the authorities to fix the pothole.
"It dangerous man... dem deh hole deh a very dangerous hole... good good while it deh yah," he bemoaned.
