Jamaica Broilers Group did not hold dividend consideration meeting in February, March this year

Jamaica Broilers Group did not hold its usual dividend consideration meeting in February and March this year, due to the massive third quarter loss of more than a billion dollars recorded by its US subsidiary.

The company's dividend policy mandates that it pays out 20 per cent of its net profits in dividends annually.

It has been paying a dividend in March/April and October/ November of every year since 2000.

The board recently fired the entire USA Division's management team due to the losses.
