Two killed, one injured after gunmen attack family in St. Ann

Gunmen shot three members of a family in Claremont, St. Ann on Wednesday, leaving two dead and the third person in hospital in serious condition.
 
The deceased have been identified as 61-year-old Thelma Nembhard and 68- year-old David Nembhard.
 
A 19-year-old woman was shot in the neck.
 
About 5:40 p.m., the three people were at home when two men entered and shot them.
 
Senior Superintendent Dwight Powell, Commanding Officer for the St. Ann Police Division, said the attack stemmed from a "domestic-related incident between elements in that community," however a direct motive has not yet been established. 
 
SSP Powell said the police have "received some intelligence" but also need the help of residents in solving the crime.
