Two men were shot dead and a third injured in separate incidents on Lincoln Avenue in Kingston on Thursday.
One of the men was killed in a drive-by shooting about 3:00 p.m.
He has been identified as Daniel Sinclair.
Another man was injured.
It's reported that the Denham Town Police responded and accosted a group of men on Lincoln Alley.
During a reported shootout, one of the men identified as Giovanni Simmonds, was killed.
The cops seized two illegal guns, including an M16 rifle.
Senior Superintendent Michael Phipps, head of the Kingston West Police, told Radio Jamaica News that Thursday's incidents were linked to gangs.
He said the cops are searching for a number of suspects.
