Cayman Islands: Election office extends hours ahead of voter registration deadline

The election office in the Cayman Islands will be extending its opening hours over the coming days until the deadline for voters to register on January 15.

According to officials, there are still thousands of people who are eligible to vote who have not yet chosen to sign up to exercise their democratic rights. The office is urging everyone who is qualified to take action and get their names on the register and take part in the April 30 general election.
