Trinidad & Tobago is among 63 countries shortlisted for the World Summit Awards for initiatives aligned to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
According to a statement from the Network of Rural Women Producers of Trinidad & Tobago, being shortlisted among 133 solutions from 63 countries is an extraordinary honour.
It places Trinidad & Tobago at the forefront of global conversations about innovation, sustainability, and inclusive development.
It added that as the project advances to compete at the WSA Global Congress in Hyderabad, India, Trinidadians are reminded of the immense potential within their nation to influence change on a global scale.
