The Belize Port Authority says it has been seeking to enhance its operations through several modernisation initiatives as the country prepares for an International Maritime Organisation Member State Audit in November this year.
The BPA says it is aware of comments on a recent talk show but that it wanted to reassure the country of its "commitment to continuous improvement" and that an ongoing project is the development of a Maritime Single Window platform in collaboration with Barbados Port Inc.
