Commentary by Track Announcer Brian Rickman

9-2 choice Duke captured the Open Allowance contest going over the five straight course on Tuesday’s rescheduled 11-race card at Caymanas Park.

One of two winners for joint champion jockey Dane Nelson, Duke found room in the middle of the track after being switched from the stand side.

Meanwhile, Prince Marshall, one of two winners for apprentice Youville Pinnock, landed Division 1 of the Association of Jamaican Farriers Trophy, a maiden condition race for native bred three year olds going six furlongs.

Five time former champion jockey Trevor Simpson with a chance ride, piloted 3-2 favourite The Genesis to victory in Division 2.

There were also two wins for trainer Tensang Chung. Racing continues next Wednesday with the 29th running of the Thornbird Stakes for native bred 3 year old fillies being the feature event.
