A Rena Gordon hattrick has placed Cavalier one step closer to the final of the JFF Women's Premier League with an emphatic 6-2 win over Vere United in their first leg semi-final on Saturday at the Captain Horace Burrell Centre of Excellence at UWI Mona.
The return leg is set for Saturday at the same venue, while the other semi-final match-up between Frazier’s Whip and Olympic Gardens has been postponed, as the knockout champions have 8 players in the national Under-20 squad which leaves the island on Monday for the CONCACAF World Cup qualifiers in the Dominican Republic.
