Denbigh High highlights ISSA netball presentation ceremony

Moyah Manning of Denbigh High was among the big winners at Thursday's ISSA netball presentation ceremony. After copping the rural senior netball title, Denbigh High went on to be crowned all-island winners.

Their success hinged on an 85 % shooting accuracy from Manning who walked away with the most accurate shooter of the senior rural final. Manning was also adjudged the MVP of the final. Gaynstead's Latanya Wilson was adjudged the MVP of the senior all-island final.

Another double winner on Thursday was Kimberley Hudson of Excelsior who for her 85 % efficiency, was adjudged the most accurate in the senior final. Hudson was also named urban senior final MVP. Netball Jamaica president Dr Paula Daley-Morris praised ISSA for aiding in the development of the sport.

The winners of the junior league were Gaynstead in the urban area and Holmwood Technical in the rural area, while Excelsior High walked away with the urban senior crown and Denbigh high the rural junior title.

The all-island junior champion was Gaynstead High while Denbigh High was crowned senior all- island winner.
