Glen and Blackwood make half centuries against Red Force

The Jamaica Scorpions were 235-6 in their first innings on the opening day of their regional 4-day match, against hosts Trinidad and Tobago Red Force, a pink ball encounter, at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy.

Javelle Glen 74 not out and Abhijai mansigh 40, are the batters at the crease for the Scorpions. Earlier, Jermaine Blackwood who made 61 and Kirk McKenzie 31 shared in a 96 run 3rd wicket stand.

Captain John Campbell made 2, while Brandon King went without scoring. Joshua James and Khary Pierre have taken 2 wickets each so far for the Red Force. 

The Scorpions have just two wins in the competition, while the Red Force are second in standings with 101 points.
