Harbour View recorded their first win of the Jamaica Premier league season, clipping Tivoli Gardens 2-1 at the Captain Horace Burrell Centre of Excellence on Tuesday.
Harbour View took the lead after 32 minutes when Oshane Staple converted. But two minutes after the half-time interval, Tivoli found themselves level through a well taken strike from Nakeel Wright.
With 6 minutes of regular time to play and the teams heading for a stalemate, Jamaica College player Tarick Ximines popped up to give the “Stars of the East” all three points with a goal in the 84th.
In the other match, Fabian Reid with goals in the 3rd and 45th minutes could not propel Arnett Gardens to three points as Humble Lion came back twice to earn a 2-2 draw.
Shamari Dallas in the 10th and Javain Thompson in the 60th got the goals for the team from Clarendon who now have one defeat and two draws in their three games.
