BSJ introduced 53 new quality standards last year

The Bureau of Standards Jamaica has revealed that last year it introduced 53 new quality standards, with 47 related to products and six to services. 
 
This, in order to bring the country's micro small and medium sized enterprises up to  international  standards.
 
The total  number of standards in its national  standards  catalogue stood at 760 as at December 31, 2024, and another 56 are currently being finalised, according to the Bureau.
