The West Indies went down by 5 wickets to Ireland via the Duckworth/Lewis method in their rain affected second one day international at Sabina Park on Thursday as the Irish levelled the 3 match series at 1-1.
Sent to bat, the Caribbean side was dismissed for 229 in 48 overs. Romario Shepherd top scored with a rearguard 50, while Jamaica's Odean Smith made 46 and Shamarh Brooks 43.
Andy McBrine was the pick of the Irish bowlers with 4-36, while Craig Young bagged 3-42.
In reply, the Irish got to 157-4 off 31 overs when rain stopped play. They were eventually set a set a revised target of 168 off 36 overs when play resumed and they comfortably achieved their target at 168-5 off 32.2 overs.
Harry Tector was left unbeaten on 54, while Man of the Match McBrine made 35.
Akeal Hosein took 2-51 for the Windies. The third and final match will be played on Sunday also at Sabina Park.
