Jamaica Basketball Association (JABA) president, Paulton Gordon says the association will look to build on a recent partnership with the Ministry of National Security which saw them introduce the game to a number of inner city youths.
JABA was one of the many partners who collaborated with the ministry in the 3-week long camp which used sports as one of the activities to help build relationships among the youngsters from several inner city communities.
The programme saw just under 400 children from communities such as Majesty Gardens, Payne Land and Delacree Lane taking part.
