Jamaica cinches Digicel Caribbean Cup

Hosts Jamaica used two Luton Shelton penalties to claim their fourth regional title, defeating Grenada 2-0 in the Digicel Caribbean Championship final at the national stadium.

The penalties were awarded on fouls committed on attacking wing back Eric Vernon, who was named MVP of the   tournament.

Although happy to begin his stint with a silverware, coach John Barnes thinks his team could have perform better.

Guadeloupe beat Cuba 5-4 on penalties for third place after the teams had played to a goalless regulation draw.
