Radio Jamaica Sports understands that the country could see a return of first class cricket for the first time in four years when the fixtures are released.
Radio Jamaica Sports also understands that the competition will be expanded to eight teams with the inclusion of the Combined Campuses and Colleges and the West Indies Emerging Academy.
Based on Radio Jamaica Sports sources, Jamaica could host the first three rounds of matches and could end up hosting five of the seven league format games.
The Scorpions last played a match in Jamaica in February 2020 at the Trelawny Multi-Purpose Stadium against Guyana before the Covid-19 pandemic.
