JFF could name alternative squad for World Cup qualifiers

Report by RJRGLEANER Communications Group Sports Reporter Kayon Raynor

There's still no settlement between the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) and the UK-based clubs, hours before the squad and travel arrangements are to be finalized ahead of the Reggae Boyz CONCACAF World Cup qualifiers away to Mexico on September 2 and Costa Rica on September 8.

There is no assurance from the UK clubs that they will be releasing players for the two games, as Mexico and Costa Rica are on the UK’s red list of countries with high cases of Covid-19.
