JFF Gen. Sec. hoping for Reggae Boyz UK camp despite effects of COVID-19 in England

Report by RJRGLEANER Communications Group Sports Reporter Simon Preston

General Secretary of the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) Dalton Wint is hopeful the Reggae Boyz will still be able to have a UK-based camp in preparation for the Gold Cup and World Cup qualifiers.

Despite a rise in COVID-19 vaccinations in the United Kingdom, cases and deaths are still on the increase with hospital admissions close to its peak in some parts of England.

This has led to doubt about the quality of the Jamaica's preparation heading into their busy calendar year. However, Wint, remains optimistic that the March camp could be a reality in England.
