Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) president Michael Ricketts has extended the olive branch to the national senior men and women's teams.

Ricketts has promised to expedite a sit down with the senior women's team to resolve its long-standing impasse.

The last time the World Cup playing members of the Reggae Girlz represented Jamaica was on September 26 of last year in the second leg of the Olympic qualifiers away to Canada.

Since then an impasse has ensued between the World Cup players and the federation over several issues including pay, following which the players withdrew their services.

It led to a suspension of all the World Cup players by the JFF  who then demanded an apology before their return.

However, global players association FIFPRO said no apology was necessary.
