Olympic bronze medallist Ronald Levy produced the only Jamaican victory at the Rovereto International Athletics Meeting in Italy on Tuesday. Levy sped to 13.37 seconds to win the men's 110 metre hurdles to win ahead of American Michael Dickson 13.50.
Junelle Bromfield placed second in the women's 400 metres after clocking 51.49 seconds to finish behind winner Polina Miller, an Authorized Neutral Athlete who clocked 51.21.
Julian Forte recorded 10.19 seconds to finish 3rd in the men's 100 meters which was won by American Marvin Bracy in a meet record 9.98.
Another Jamaican, Nigel Ellis, was 7th in 10.48 seconds. Natasha Morrison ended 5th in the women's 100 meters after clocking 11.26 .The event was won by Trinidadian Michelle-Lee Aye in 11.20.
Rusheen McDonald was 8th in the men's 400 metres which was won by American Michael Cherry in a meet record 44.55.
In the field, 2015 World Championship bronze medalist O'Dayne Richards placed 5th in the men's shot put with a throw of 19.69 metres. The event was won by Italian Zane Weir with a meet record 21.32 metres.
