MBU beat Arnett to take over RSPL lead

Title holders Montego Bay United are now sitting atop the Red Stripe Premier League table after scoring their second victory over Arnett Gardens in five days.

The defending champions carved out a 2-0 win in their rescheduled Red Stripe Premier League match at Wespow Park on Thursday.

Jermaine Woozencroft gave Montego Bay United the go ahead goal on the half an hour mark while Dino Williams wrapped up the contest in the 63rd minute.

Montego Bay United who also won Sunday's second round contest 2-0, are now on 24 points, one more than previous leaders UWI FC. Arnett are sixth on 18 points.
