Mount Pleasant FA is the first team to qualify for the semi-finals of the Wray and Nephew Jamaica Premier League (JPL) after registering a comfortable 2- 0 win over Chapleton Maroons on Monday. Exilus Andelo and Raheem Edwards got the goals for Mount Pleasant, in the 61st and 74th minutes.
Meanwhile, a double goal from Owyane Gordon led Montego Bay United to a 3-0 victory against Racing United at the Anthony Spaulding Sports Complex to move a step closer to the semi-finals.
Gordon opened the scoring in the 11 minute, with Peter Lee Vassell, adding the second goal in the 82nd. Gordon sealed the deal with his second goal in the 89th minute minute.
