National female table tennis champion walks away from the sport

Report by RJRGLEANER Communications Group Sports Reporter Christopher Scott

National female table tennis champion Solesha Young has decided to walk away from the sport. The 19-year-old Young joins the growing list of top ranked players to move away from the sport in recent months.

While former national men's champions Simon Tomlinson and Kane Watson cited a fallout with the Jamaica Table Tennis Association (JTTA) administration, for their decision to quit the sport, Young says that's not the case with her.
