There will be a new champion in the ISSA Champions Cup after title holders Kingston College were sent packing by Clarendon College in Saturday’s semi-finals at the Stadium East Field. With five minutes left in the game, Keheim Dixon got the breakthrough to send Clarendon College in the lead.

On the stroke of full time, Christopher Hull made the game safe as the Clarendonians dethroned the reigning champions to avenge their 1-0 final defeat in the 2019 final.

It took penalties to decide the day's second semi-final between Jamaica College and Dinthill High. The two ended 0-0 in regulation time before Dinthill prevailed 4-3 on penalties.

Dinthill who are yet to lose a match this season and have only conceded once to date, will face Clarendon College in the final set for next Saturday at 3:00 pm at Stadium East.

It's the first time since the inception of the competition that two rural area schools will be contesting the final.
