Sammy calls for more time and support for Pollard

Former West Indies captain Darren Sammy says white ball skipper Kieron Pollard should be given the time and support to lead the team to the ICC T20 World Cup in Australia in October. Speaking with ESPN's Cricinfo on Saturday, Sammy said the time he got in 2010 helped him to prepare for the eventual successes of 2012 and 2016.

Sammy is also open to the idea of providing moral support to the team in a mentorship capacity for the World Cup.
